1. What are the main components of the model ships?
The model ships of NainTrading are hand-made, using the traditional hull construction, and are made out of high quality wood. The hull of the ship is made entirely out of wood. Superstructures are also mostly made out high-quality wood. The sails are in most cases made out fabric.

2. Are the information and pictures of the models true to reality?
All information about our model ships, which you can see in our online-store, is provided to the best of our knowledge. All sizes are measured carefully and should, if any, only have very small differences to the information provided. The weight gets determined through a special scale. The images of the models are taken in our store, using an SLR camera, which shows the colours and the details of the models beautifully. Nevertheless, the colours can differ from the real model due to settings of your home-screen, regarding brightness and contrast.

3. What should I generally watch out for with my new model?
Our model ships are fully assembled before shipping. Therefore you don’t have to follow special steps after receiving your model. If you have ordered a big model, you might have to construct the mast of the ship, as these models do not fit the packet with an already assembled mast. (The construction of the mast should only take a couple of minutes, as an instruction is included in your packet.) Otherwise, place or hang your model in its destined place and just enjoy the view.

5. When and where can I inspect the model ships before purchase?
When you have found a suitable model ship in our collection, you are welcome to inspect said model before purchase in our showroom in Hamburg. If the model appeals to you, you are more than welcome to take it home with you on the spot.

6. How does the ordering process work at NainTrading?
Once you have found a suitable model in our online-store, you can place it in your virtual cart, using the blue button ,Place in cart‘ on the right hand side of the product-detail-side. The layout will change automatically an will show you the chosen product in your cart. By clicking the button ,Continue shopping‘ you can search for other models or you place your order by clicking ,Proceed to checkout‘. If you are a new customer, you can create a new account by clicking on "New customer". If you are a returning customer you can log in through your email and password under "Existing customer". Your saved data will be retained.

If you are a new customer, type in your information and click on "next" at the bottom of the page.

During the next step you will be able to review your shipping address, so you can make some changes if you have to. At this point you will also be able to review all shipping costs. Click on "next".

In the following step you choose your method of payment, through checking the box behind your desired payment method. If you wish, you have the opportunity to write a note regarding your order into a small description field. Click on "next".

At the end of the ordering process you will get a complete review of your order. Through clicking "confirm order" you transfer the information to us and make your order binding.

7. Where can I display my purchase order?
If you want to review your order you need to log into your Nain Trading customers account. You can do this by either clicking on "my account / log in" on the left navigation bar or you can log in by clicking on "your account" on the top navigation bar.
Once you are logged in, you can review your purchases through Nain Trading by clicking on "my orders".

8. How can I change or cancel an order?
If you want to cancel an already confirmed order, please call us under +49 04 - 326634 or write us an email at info@naintrading.com.
Once you have contacted us, we will cancel your order.

9. Which methods of payment does Nain Trading accept?
We accept a number of payment methods. You can make your payment through advanced payment, money transfer, by last name or cash upon pick up. In addition we offer these payment methods: instant bank transfer, PayPal, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, purchase by check and instalment purchase through Klarna.

10. How save are these payment methods?
We make sure that our online store is always up to the newest security standards, so that your data is safe. We use the safety standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) when it comes to the transfer of data, to protect your data from access of unauthorized third parties. The big financial service providers are also using this system. Nain Trading is securing credit card information through 3D secure technology.

11. Is it possible to discuss a financing payment plan for my model ship?
We offer a financing option of instalment purchase through our financial partner Klarna. You will receive your order and can work on paying your bill to Klarna with flexible rates afterwards. 12. How much will the shipping cost me?
The shipping costs for the models differ depending on the size and the destination of the shipping. Further information regarding the shipping costs for all countries, can be found under the category Payment information and

13. How long will the delivery of my model take?
Within the EU and countries close to the EU, shipment will usually take 1 to 4 working days. Outside of the EU shipment can take significantly longer.

14. Where can I review my order and my status of delivery?
You will receive a confirmation email, after you have successfully completed your ordering process. Once the package has been shipped we send another email, to inform you of your status of delivery. In this email you will find further information about shipment and tips on how to follow the delivery process of your package.

15. Is there anything I need to consider, if I want to order something from Switzerland or another country from outside the EU?
Customers from Switzerland or a non-EU country, who are ordering something in our online store, will only have to pay the net price. Please note that the shipping address of your order is deciding. More information can be found

16. The model ship is not to my liking. Can I return it?
We allow the return of any model that you bought through us within 14 days, in case it should not be to your liking. More information regarding the legal right of withdrawal can be found under the category

If you want to return a model ship, please reuse the cartoon that the item was shipped in, so that the model does not get damaged.

Your data is being safely stored by Nain Trading and not being transferred to unauthorized third parties or misused for advertising purposes. Excluded from this is our newsletter, which will only be sent to you by previous agreement.
